<p><strong>Yogi Trio: 1&#8217;59&#8221; that changed the world. The Birth of the Bossa Nova</strong></p>
<p>Concert-story that unravels the history of Bossa Nova through its protagonists, the most representative songs and dramatised anecdotes. From the primordial samba brought by the African slaves who arrived in Brazil to the establishment of the most elegant and sophisticated popular musical genre of the 20th century, we follow the evolutions and cultural mixtures that culminate in the magic of Joao Gilberto, the compositions of Tom Jobim and the poetry of Vinicius de Moraes. The title of the show is inspired by one of the chapters in the work of Ruy Castro, the great chronicler of Bossa Nova and one of the various documentary sources on which the show is based. Xavi Molina (narrator), Evandro Correa and Lluís Subiranas are the three musicians who accompany us on this journey. Voices, guitar, clarinet, saxophone, double bass, cajon, whistle, hands, spoon and matchbox; their instruments.</p>
