The “Tirada a l’art” (thrown to art)

<p><span class="goog-text-highlight">Art (trawling) was a fishing technique used by the people of Lloret to make a living. </span>The art was thrown from the beach and, when picked up, a good handful of fish were obtained.</p>
<p>In order not to lose this way of life and to pay tribute and remembrance to these people of the sea, on the first Sunday in December and the first of February (weather and sea allow), there is a meeting at the exit of the only to Trajo d&#8217;en Reyné (where Reyné had thrown the art) to throw the art with everyone who wants to participate. Once collected, breakfast is served with the fish caught.</p>
