&lt;p&gt;Boogie from the 30&amp;#8217;s, Swing from the 40&amp;#8217;s and Rhythm &amp;amp; Blues from the 50&amp;#8217;s in the repertoire of this sextet from Barcelona where they have the luxury of collaborating with the great Argentine harmonica player based in Barcelona, Tota Blues. Wax &amp;amp; Boogie, for more than 10 years, have been able to capture exceptionally, the true feeling of traditional Afro-American music, transforming it into their own means of expression. A powerful and charismatic singer, impeccable boogie piano, a strident rhythmic base and a fiery harmonica: what more could you ask for from this brilliant line-up that ignites audiences every time they appear? Wax &amp;amp; Boogie Rhythm Sextet, was selected by the knowledgeable audience of the prestigious Ascona International Jazz Festival 2019 in Switzerland, as the 2nd best band out of more than 50 bands from all over the world. This summer, we will also find them presenting their 5th album recorded at JUMP START studios in Paris under the name &amp;#8220;Make up your Mind&amp;#8221;.&lt;/p&gt;<br />
